Path of Bees
During the last year of art school, I began creating small metal alter pieces
and jewelry with sacred and metaphysical themes to incorporate in my larger
installations. I loved making the jewelry so much that I started my own company,
Path of Bees. I chose the name after reading about the sacred funerary objects
found in Egyptian tombs. Most included bee imagery, and I discovered that
the ancient Egyptians believed that bees carry the soul to heaven.
